BiomedGT image is now available
The results of the CTDE discussion, etc. has been implemented by the NCI. A read-only image of their development site can be found at http://biomedgt.org/.
The Apelon and Mayo renderings of the NCI Thesaurus will be removed from this site in the next few days.
We are in the final stages of creating:
- A SKOS to LexGrid converter
- A LexGrid to LexWiki service

Welcome to the Wiktolog Wiki

The Wiktolog Wiki is an extension of the Semantic MediaWiki (SMW). Its purpose is to explore how the SMW can be extended to support publication, integration and curation of exiting ontologies and other terminological resources.

Identifiers
- How do we record non-semantic, language independent identifiers in mediawiki links while still representing the referenced information by their preferred name in user's native language?
- What should outside references look like? We would like to record URI's on the outside world and have a mechanism that de-references it to the appropriate URL, which may or may not be a particular Wiktology entry.
Discussion Threads - How do we separate the existing content of the terminological resource from the discussion and proposed changes?
Templates - Converging on a core set of "Terminological Common Data Elements" (TCDE's)
Namespaces - How should namespaces be represented? How do we distinguish "Activity" as defined by the NCI Thesaurus from "Activity" as defined by the Semantic Net
